Kean Career Services (KCS)


Career services located in the Center of Academic success building and is dedicated to helping find student or alumni internships and jobs to launch their careers. All students, alumni and faculty are encouraged to stop in for any resources or guidance that involves career services.

While offering a variety of services, which include resume, cover letter review and mock interviews, all students/ alumni are encouraged to sign up on https://www.collegecentral.com/kean/. This portal allows employers to post jobs and students to apply for paid jobs, internships and academic credit.




Mission Statement

Interviewee


One of the MIS manager’s that we will interview is Laureen Delance that serves as a Managing Assistant Director of Internships at Career services.  Laureen has started her career in a non- profit organization known as Girl Scouts where she worked with youth, and trained them in multiple programs. Next, she worked as an intern manager for an alternative school where she facilitated seminars and recruitment. She then worked for a leadership program where she handled social media accounts, and press releases. 





Laureen Delance attended Rutgers and obtains a bachelor’s degree in political science and urban studies and a master's in public administration. Currently at Career services she assists and directs students with internships, manages social media platforms and facilitates workshops and much more.
